2491B / 6701B LSZH Low Smoke Zero Halogen Cable

Application

2491B / 6701B LSZH cable (H05Z-K & H07Z-K) is a flexible low smoke zero halogen panel wire that is flame retardant and intended for applications where smoke and toxic fumes arising in a fire situation may threaten life or equipment. 

They are therefore suitable for equipment installed in public buildings such as hospitals and schools as well as government and commercial buildings.

They are sometimes referred to as LSOH cable or LSHF (Low Smoke Halogen Free) cable or by their harmonised codes H05Z-K and H07Z-K.

BASEC Approved. Manufactured to BS EN 50525-3-41 (formerly BS7211)

Harmonised Codes H05Z-K (Sizes 0.5mm – 1.0mm) and H07Z-K (Sizes 1.5mm upwards)

Plain annealed Class 5 Copper conductor

Cross-linked LSZH Insulation Type EI5

Temperature Rating:

Maximum 90°C

Minimum -15°C

H05Z-K (2491B) 0.5mm² to 1.0mm² are rated at 300/500V (Uo/U)

H07Z-K (6701B) 1.5mm² to 240mm² are rated at 450/750V (Uo/U)
