Application

Double Insulated Tri-rated cable is a flexible PVC cable that is flame retardant and can be used in high working temperatures.

The outer sheath provides extra mechanical protection. This cable is often used in the telecommunications industry in equipment such as telephone exchanges and power applications where flexibility is required.

Standards

Manufactured to CSA Type TEW, UL Type AWM Style 1015 (including UL1028, UL1283 and UL1284) and manufactured to BS6231.

Please note that because this cable is double insulated it no longer holds the UL & CSA licences but is manufactured to the same standards.
